Who we are

Ponder is operated by [legal entity name, ABN], Western Australia (“Ponder”, “we”). By using the Ponder website or app you agree to these terms. If you use Ponder for a school or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

The service today

Ponder is in preview. Some screens use sample data, features may change or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. No pricing has been announced and no paid plan is offered. We will give notice before introducing fees.

Accounts

Adults create accounts with Google or email. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us about any unauthorised use. Give accurate information, and only one person should use each adult account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

Children, families and schools

Children do not create their own accounts. A parent or carer adds a child to their family space, or a verified school adds a student to its roster. A school roster record is linked to a family only when the invited parent accepts, signed in with the email address the school invited. Parents and schools are responsible for the child information they enter. Please enter only a first name or nickname and year level for a child. Do not upload report cards or other documents: that feature is not available.

Acceptable use

Do not use Ponder to harass anyone, to share another person’s private information, to break the law, to attempt to access data that is not yours, to probe or overload the service, or to misuse automated tools against it. Do not try to get Ponder to complete assessed work in a way your school does not allow.

AI answers

Ask Ponder uses an AI model to respond to general learning and product questions. Answers can be wrong or incomplete. They are learning support, not professional, medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice, and they are not a substitute for a teacher. If a child may be at risk, contact a trusted adult or, in Australia, Kids Helpline on 1800 55 1800. Do not enter private or identifying details in questions.

Your content and ours

You keep ownership of what you enter. You allow us to store and process it only to provide Ponder to you, as described in the privacy policy. The Ponder name, character, designs and software belong to Ponder or its licensors.

Liability and governing law

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. To the extent the law allows, [limitation of liability wording to be drafted by legal adviser]. These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
